Gift ideas

From IkataWiki

The following are some ideas for gifts American (specifically, Minnesotan) host families might give to a foreign visitor. Keep in mind that size, weight, and durability are of key importance when your visitor will be carrying gifts back in a bag or suitcase. Please be sure to check the Japanese government's official customs regulations if unsure about a gift item. Note that in addition to the list of prohibited items, animal products and plants can also be forbidden.
