Where is Ikata?

Ikata is located in southwestern Japan on Shikoku, the smallest of Japan's four main islands.

Transportation

Access Ikata directly by car or bus from inland Ehime. Ferries from Saganoseki and Beppu also offer direct routes to Ikata's Misaki Port from Kyūshū.

The closest train station is Japan Railways' (JR) Yawatahama Station on the Yosan line. Express trains run approximately hourly to and from Matsuyama.
