Red Wing Park

Red Wing Park map

This park makes use of the steep slopes unique to the Sadamisaki Peninsula, offering a relaxing place for both children and adults to enjoy. Have fun on the steep slopes of Adventure Hill, or take a breather in Red Wing Square, which is dedicated to Ikata's sister city Red Wing, MN, USA.

Adventure Hill boasts a swing rope, an obstacle course, net climbing, a roller slide, 14 different kinds of playground equipment, 6 thousand trees, and an observation deck with an amazing view.

In Red Wing Square there stands a 21 m (70 ft) tall steel scultpure modeled after a Native American tent, as well as a granite monument. Flower beds and open lawns fill the area, making it a beautiful place to take a breather or stretch ones legs.
