Autumn Festival

The Autumn Festival is held on October 16 and 17. The festivities on the 16^th are mostly in the evening, then the main events are on the 17^th. Many families in the area invite their friends and relatives over to eat traditional meals such as hachimori.

The festival's parade procession begins at the shrine, goes around the town, then ends with a ceremonial offering to the spirits.
